What to Expect From Phase 4

2020-03-12 00:00:00

WofW Classic Phase 4 is underway. This is the fourth major content patch for the classic re-release of the famous MMORPG. Phase 4 comes with Arathi Basin battleground, Zul'Gurub raid, and the Green Dragons outdoor bosses.

Arathi Basin is a 15 versus 15 battleground. It the third and last battleground available in WofW Classic. The minimum level for this battleground is 20. Players will enter in brackets of nine levels. There is a separate bracket for maximum level players. Arathi Basin is a control base scenario.

There are six important locations/objectives. A captured objective gives points to the faction that controls it. The first faction to reach 1,600 points wins the match. There are two NPC factions associated with this battleground. Players can enter the battleground by talking to a battle master in the main cities or they can go and queue from the entrance. The Alliance entrance is at Refuge Point while the Horde entrance is in Hammerfell.

Zul'Gurub is a 20-man raid. It has six main bosses and four optional ones. This raid is in Stranglethorn Vale. The last boss is Hakkar. Notable loot drops here. There are many purple pieces of equipment but also handy items such as 18-slots bags, profession items, and quest starters. The Swift Razzashi Raptor is a most coveted mount that drops from Bloodlord Mandokir. Zandalar Tribe is a troll faction associated with the raid. Players can gain reputation with them by clearing the raid and completing quests.

On average, 2000-3000 reputation is obtained per full run. The most important reputation rewards include shoulder, hear, and leg enchants. There are also profession recipes unlocked when reaching a certain reputation threshold. If you are wondering about the Corrupted Blood bug, then you should know that it was fixed. The bug allowed warlocks' minions and hunters' pets to catch the debuff and take it outside the raid. NPCs got it too. This resulted in many players being killed by the damage over time. The Green Dragons are extremely challenging outdoor bosses.

Arathi Basin is coming March 11th but for the other two activities, we will have to wait a few more weeks. Zul'Gurub and the Green Dragons are coming in April but the exact date is not yet known.

Meanwhile, you can prepare for the raid and maybe stockpile on some WofW Classic gold. Or you could get WofW Classic gold from GoldPiles and have time to do Arathi Basin instead. We have fast deliveries and affordable prices!
