WoW: Patch 9.1 Chains Of Domination Features2021-04-28 00:00:00
WoW is getting ready for the next major Shadowlands update. This is Patch 9.1 and it is called Chain of Domination. It will be a significant update that adds more content and features. The release date is not yet announced but the Patch is already on the PTR so it will not be long until it goes live.
Once the patch is released, players will be finally able to use flying mounts in most of the Shadowlands zones. They only need to finish their Covenant campaign to unlock flying. This will require players to have Renown 59.
After getting the Shadowlands Pathfinder achievement, players will also obtain Covenant mounts. The zones where you cannot fly are the main Shadowlands city of Oribos, the Maw, and Korthia. This last zone comes with the patch. While we cannot fly in the Maw, we will be able to use all of our mounts so this will make navigation a bit easier.
New Content Coming In World of Warcraft Patch 9.1
The Shadowlands story continues as players take one step further in their fight against the Jailer. The new zone introduced by Chains of Domination is Korthia and it's part of the Maw. This zone is important for the Jailer's plans.
A new zone comes with new rewards so players will have plenty of things to do. They must also get ready for the new dungeon and raid. Tazavesh, The Veiled Market is a mega-dungeon. It has eight bosses and it's set in an exotic location.
This new dungeon will feature two parts and, for now, only the mythic difficulty is available. The rewards include weapons, armor, accessories, pets, and a mount. Players won't be able to tackle the dungeon on heroic just yet.
They will have to wait until Patch 9.2 for that. Patch 9.1 brings a new raid as well. Sanctum of Domination will feature 10 bosses. Players will face familiar WoW villains such as Kel'Thuzad and the Banshee Queen.
New enemies include the Eye of the Jailer and Tarragrue. The Tower of Torghast is getting more content as well. Players will be able to adventure into a new wing. The death counter feature is replaced with a score which will make things a bit easier for players.
Patch 9.1 also introduces new cosmetic items so players will have more customization options. Chains of Domination brings the new mythic season. Several PvP changes are also included in Patch 9.1 updates.
